Description

Now also in graphite!

This status set is the evolution of my gems remix.

It comes in 3 variations:

Set 1 (regular iChat colors)

Set 2 (few colors, 3 options):
blue, green, pink or graphite - available
dark grey - away
light grey - idle
black - offline

Set 3 (black & white, 2 options):
depending on the color of the contact list the away/online statuses are reversed
black - away, available
white - available, away
idle - dark grey
black - offline

These status icons work best with my Universal theme . See this link also for more pictures of the icons in action.

Enjoy.

DISCLAIMER: The pictures below are of course too big to look smooth they are just to show off the colors.

Very nice! :-P

I'd love it if you would make a variant that has like red color as away and yellow for typing.. You know, the normal colors ;-)

# by Diatribe on 11/28/05 at 10:41:11

You mean like the regular gems with yellow as idle, not writing right? I might just do that. :)

# by Iiro on 11/28/05 at 16:05:19

I mean the same colors for each status like in the Default status icons :-)

# by Diatribe on 11/28/05 at 16:12:03

Yeah, I got you. I've already updated the description and will release a regular iChat set and a black and white set shortly. :)

# by Iiro on 12/03/05 at 19:21:56

thanks, now it's perfect :-P

Very slick and sweet. A very nice set. :D

# by Diatribe on 01/02/06 at 16:57:23

Thanks. Glad you like it. :)

# by SamGwilym on 01/30/06 at 12:36:12

Actually - I have one qualm with this set, and that is that the content icon is indistinguishable from the colour of the tabs in Adium, causing a little bit of a confusing effect. That's all.

# by Diatribe on 01/30/06 at 13:51:50

Yeah I have noticed this. I'll try to make it more distinguishable.

# by Dylan1077 on 01/24/06 at 17:00:53

Really nice looking, a big improvement from previous versions.

Keep up the good work.

# by codepoet on 01/27/06 at 10:26:28

1. The "mobile" item in the plist is entered as "moible" and doesn't work.
2. The package extensions are in lower-case. For users with case-sensitive filesystems, these do not work. Changing them to upper-case works fine.

Other than the whole "not working" bits, good job. What I can see, I like. :) Off I go to learn the plist format to fix the rest...

# by Diatribe on 01/27/06 at 14:02:05

1. Thanks for pointing that out. I'll fix that as soon as I get home.
2. What package extensions are you talking about?
3. What "rest" are you talking about?

Glad that you like it :)

# by codepoet on 01/27/06 at 15:18:29

The filename extension. Something like AdiumStatusExtra or something (I, too, am away). It's listed as "adiumstatusextra" or somesuch. Moving it to the proper case fixed it.

As for the "rest" it seems that some items aren't loading properly and I don't know why. I'll look into it more.

# by Diatribe on 01/27/06 at 15:51:53

Ah, ok. Do you mean making it ALL uppercase or just how you wrote it? Because this should be an issue with all the xtras then.
What isn't loading for you because everything loads fine for me on 2 different machines?

# by polymnemonic on 03/10/06 at 16:06:39

seems like there is an alignment issue on the message window tabs, with this status icon pack installed the close button suddenly is pushed all the way to the left of the tab and actually touches the edge; other than that I like the idea and color scheme.

# by Ginsu on 07/07/06 at 16:05:52

I really like this scheme and am using it as my default, but the Mobile icon doesn't seem to work -- mobile people just display as online normally.

# by niclake on 08/02/06 at 02:09:48

I know it sounds really weird... but could you make a set 2 variant that was red/white/grey/black?

# by theantidote on 11/12/06 at 01:17:06

The mobile icons don't work because in the plist the mobile item under the property list has to be exactly like this: "Mobile" and you have it as "mobile" which doesn't work. Also for the white background ones the mobile.png's have no file extensions.

# by flio191 on 02/03/07 at 03:49:52

yeah id be really cool if you could make the mobile thing because now it looks like the icons go from green, then black, then green again.

# by Diatribe on 02/05/07 at 14:53:03

I have the working version already done. Just uploading hasn't worked for me in a while. As soon as it does again, probably when I am back home again, I will upload it.
I am also wanting to cut the file size by about at least 2MB but haven't had the time yet. It will come in time though. Thanks for the patience.

# by Diatribe on 02/10/07 at 07:55:26

Just reduced the file size by a lot and fixed the mobile icon. Hope everything works. :)

# by neilio_x on 02/17/07 at 21:11:12

I love this set! great work.

# by Diatribe on 07/28/07 at 15:56:03

The alignment issue with the new message icon in the tabs is gone. Tell me if anyone still experiences any problems. And thanks again for all the praise.

# by neilio_x on 09/20/07 at 23:21:44

is it possible to get a graphite version of dia blue?

# by Diatribe on 09/21/07 at 20:42:00

Of course =) Done.

# by neilio_x on 09/23/07 at 02:20:22

excellent! thanks very much.
