Description

Here is an improved stargate icon set that I altered from the original posted a while back by William Cole. Hope you enjoy because I set the "sleep" state to the cover-stone of the stargate and I altered the lighting effects of the others. The alert icon is now not a swirl but an interesting red fluid effect that I think looks much better.

Hey thanks so much for making the Stargate Dock Icon so much better. I really wanted to use the old one but it sucked he he. Your's is an answer to my wish. Any chance you could do a Stargate theme for Adium? I have the sounds and now the dock I need a theme too of course. Using Star Trek LCARS 'cause at least that's Sci Fi.

I think this isn't that much of an improvement, its just william's a little revamped, one question, what is that redish-purplish glow thing?

The reddish purple glow thing is simply one way of making an alert image that was visable, albeit not relavent to the stargate show. I had origanaly planed on having a MALP comming through the stargate as the alert but it was just too difficult to get the fluid effects correct and to get an image of the MALP that was clean enough....allthough if anyone has any ideas that would be great.

Very, very nice icon! You never realize how much of a nerd you are when a functioning Stargate icon for Adium gets you excited :D
