DescriptionNoteBoard! is a beautiful modern Message Style for AdiumX. It's the first Message Style that fully represents what WebKit is capable of, ie. CSS Animation (http://webkit.org/blog/130/css-transforms/).When installing the Style you'll have the option of choosing from 7 different animations and picking the one that you fancy the most. NOTE: The animation applies to the followup message only. *** Added Snow Leopard compatibility: Animations work on Safari 4 again *** Changesv 1.1

A few things you might want to be aware of: 1) the word "vertically" in the variant name is misspelled. 2) There is a bug with webkit animation that can cause Adium use a lot of CPU (https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.c...gi?id=20100). 3) graphical emoticons can push the text below the line. 2) Actually, I stared noticing that issue after reading this comment, so I guess I'll go ahead and blame You on it! No, but seriously, you sir, are quite right the issue does apply to this theme and every now and again you have to close and re-open the chat-window to cut the CPU some slag. Not much we can do about it but wait until bug gets addressed. 3) Yeah, if it was up to me I'd disable them completely from the Info.plist level as I'm personally not a huge emoticon-person... # by BrilliantWinter on 12/02/08 at 01:46:01I have actually yet to get the animations working :'( was running the most recent safari version, so I upgraded to the dev preview of v4 to see if that worked, and still no luck :( Gonna try running a nightly of webkit to see if that gives me the nice effects! otherwise this theme is teh shiznit! it is so nice!

Too freaking awesome. The animations are incredibly simple, yet stunning, which means I'll never be able to chat again without being lovely over-stimulated. Sir, you are a genius.

@ChrisLeduc, that's odd, perhaps an old Adium version? @enkuturi-akrias, thanks :-) I'll take your suggestions in consideration when working on an update – definitely need to do something with the orange ballon! @ekologik, you will not see the variants in the preview window as the variants apply only to the follow-up messages. Go to /Users/yourusername/Library/Application Support/Adium 2.0/Message Styles, right click on "NoteBoard.AdiumMessageStyle", pick "Show Package Contents", a new window will pop up. Go to Contents and pick "info.plist" (open it in a text editor). At this point you need to find a key named "DefaultFontFamily" and change the STRING underneath to the font you want to use, ie. Messages I send a shown with in a different font than the default "Marker Felt" setting (i didn't change the plist or message window setting). Messages I receive are shown in "Marker Felt", though. After closing the chat window and reopening it, all messages (previously sent and received) are being displayed in "Marker Felt", but again, the messages i then sent are displayed with the wrong font.
Can I or can you fix it?
