My one suggestion is having an option to allow usernames to be shown. It doesn't have to be with each consecutive message by the same person (I'd prefer it wasn't like that anyways).

I wonder if the colors could be tweaked just a hair so that there's just a little bit more contrast between the text and the background; it's not illegible, but it's not quite optimal for reading, either. Still, it's very pleasing to the eyes, and a color tweak wouldn't be completely necessary.

I also really like how the message time is hidden unless you mouse over - makes the display cleaner while still preserving functionality.
# by hellochelly on 02/16/11 at 19:03:24Really like this message style! One suggestion - adding user icons. I usually have a ton of chats going on at once so seeing the user icons would help a lot. It would make it easier to keep track of all the conversations.
