Description

This script will forward your instant messages to your account which you already use with your favorite client on your mobile. It requires three things.
1- Pipe Event
2- Additional account to forward your messages to your im account which you already use on your mobile. This account will forward the messages that you received to your specified account and send your messages from your mobile to others.
3- Of course you need to have Adium running on your computer at home/work.

Its useful for old phones, some BlackBerry phones which dont have newer/free mobile IM clients. You can use the power of Adium on your mobile be connected to multiple accounts. Thanks to Pipe Event and Adium

Installation:
1- Fill the three variables with your accounts details on the script
my_account to "example@example.com"
my_displayname to "Example Name"
my_proxyaccount to "example2@example.com"
2- Add your proxy account to Adium
3- Follow the instructions on Pipe Event
4- Point message event to forward2mobile.sh
5- Get online with your account on your mobile as usual

You will chat with your proxy account
You will receive messages from your proxy account like
John Smith: Hey hows it going
To send messages from your mobile, send your message to your proxy account. It will forward your messages to the user. The syntax is simple to:message
John Smith:going great

You can send some commands to the Adium at home from your mobile
@list
Print online users
@online
make your status online
@away
make your status away
@invisible
make your status invisible
